The best prevention is living a Healthy Lifestyle.

As reported by the CDC, the Coronavirus can be a deadly virus, especially among those who are older or who have pre-existing medical conditions such as high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.

While we focus on limiting the spread and communication of the virus in the short-term, it is crucial that we realize the importance of living a healthy lifestyle - through eating a healthy diet, exercising, etc. - in the prevention of catastrophic diseases like COVID-19.

Although there is nothing we can do about our age, we can certainly limit other risk-factors through how we take care of our bodies.

Eating a healthy diet, exercising, getting enough sleep, and practicing other healthy habits prevent against the majority of disease that weakens our immune system and makes us prone to catastrophic illness and death.

Our medical system and its health professionals are beyond incredible, but it does have its limitations as we still continue to see deaths among those with pre-existing conditions.

In the end, the best defense you have is yourself which is why it is crucial that you take care of your body.
